antilink rot test

So link rot is a real problem on the net right? Over time, things change. Maybe it's just my disposition, but I really don't like link rot. In order to manage this, I made a little script that checks if the site/webpage is still up. It's not perfect, I kinda just slapped it together, and IDK if I fully reccomend using it since it sends a request to each site you link to. The code may or may not be partially depricated anyway. Feel free to steal it. Look at the source code to steal the snippet.

Todo:

• Switch to Fetch API and or an asynchronous way of doing it
• Make one that works with buttons
• Make one that ranks sites based on their last RSS feed update (this would be really cool)
