Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, 1985 - ★★★★★

I've been trying to watch this show on and off since I was a kid, and I've finally sat down and watched the whole thing.

For me, the presentation is what did it. This anime is paced well, has excellent voice acting (I watched the dub), music, BEAUTIFUL artwork and an exciting story.

And we can't forget the best character in the series: Haro.

Easily one of my favorite animes.

Arion, 1986 - ★★

Short Review for Arion after watching it 30 mins ago.

TLDR: Watch Dagger of Kamui instead.

The animation and art in this show is absolutely breathtaking. I loved that aspect of the film SO SOOOOOO much. I also loved the music. The movie's presentation was overall, cream of the crop.

With that out of the way, let's talk about the film's story content.

As a person that is not a giga fan of greek mythology (nor the manga of the same name), this is a hot steaming boiling mess.

Personally? Dagger of Kamui is a way better movie with similar themes, but this flick is worth watching some action clips for the animation alone. Just know that shit will get weird if you attempt watching the whole thing.

Rubber, 2010 - ★★★★

I just saw this with my friend. It's an awesome SURREAL (with a big emphasis on surreal) thriller. Love films like this!!!!!!

It was a little on the nose with it's message, but the film was still pretty fun.

Tho if you go into it knowing it's going to get weird, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
