Not much happened at all. Bro summoned a goofy shadow demon when he was trying to show off to his rival and then allowed himself to get casually bullied by it for the rest of the book. Also what kinda name is Ged? His non-secret name Sparrowhawk is like 5000 times cooler than that. One thing the book had going for it was him talking to the dragon, that scene was hilarious.
