Ok after letting my thoughts about this anime mill around in my head a bit as well as reading what people were saying online to get a better feel for the show, I think it is quite good. The story the anime was trying to do is indeed quite good. HOWEVER! There were some things that could have been explained better, and I think my questions still stands. The ending with the bird flying away didn't make much sense to me either, given the mission was finally fufilled. I think the whole bird thing felt really bizzare and shoehorned in. Like it literally felt like this scene from the ending of Puss in Boots. Mf was just "there the whole time" like are we really supposed to understand this? Where did bro GO? I get they're both cursed but at least die normally.

Aside from things getting confusing, and my question of why so many people had weird issues in that town, I think the show was solid.
